Terry: “This is the Star Wars film that we’ve all been waiting for. After the disaster that was the first 3 episodes, J.J. Abrams has revived the Star Wars film franchise. I loved this film and I’ve seen it multiple times. It’s just an incredibly fun movie to watch. Great villain (hats off to Adam Driver, I didn’t think he’d make a good villain initially but I was wrong!), great action, great cinematography, great story, and great cast! I was incredibly impressed with the casting for this film. They took a shot on two relatively unknown actors (Daisy Ridley and John Boyega) to carry a major blockbuster and it paid off. Those two are stars in the making for sure. I would recommend this movie to pretty much anyone. It has humor, action, romance…..it has it all. LOVED IT!”
Jordan: ” Star Wars: The Force Awakens is my favorite film in the saga. And that’s saying a lot. I’m not easily impressed by a film but this one was near perfect. They updated the effects but they still had enough of a “nostalgia” factor. I was so excited when the opening credits rolled and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I loved how they had those front facing pilot shots during the fight scenes and I love how they finally showed us the magnitude of this universe. We’ve never actually seen the scope of the vehicles or ships. There’s this moment when Rey slides down a sand dune and we see just how big the ships are. None of the previous films did that and it shows just how much careful planning and attention to detail they went with this film. Go watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens! It’s one of the best films on Netflix.”
